Deceiver Fly
How do you know beyond reasonable doubt that the God you worship is true and not a deceiver?
If a light from a bulb can blind the eyes, and science can create artificial light that looks divine such as light from ships and flying aircraft, what makes you think that beings that arebeyond physics are not faking you by pretending to be God? How can you rely on your senses if you can't even control your hate?
You make a good point. I have a spirit inside of me who claims to be God. I think all spirits make that claim, because they know we can't tell the difference. All I can say is, I can only go by the content of His conversation. The things He say's, do they sound reasonably true?
Well, yes and no. He speaks with 'authority', especially when referring to Himself, so maybe it's Him. He says He loves me, and has promised me many things after death, so..., I tend to believe Him. If He is not who He says He is..., it is a deception of epic proportion.
If He has put me under a delusion, it's a pretty good one to be under. He has promised me reincarnation as myself. Many multiple lives. Many wives. Plants I can eat/smoke to get high. Living like 'Adam & Eve' did. Naked and unashamed.
When He tells the story, it sounds somewhat believable. It's His insistence that has caused my disbelief to 'cave in'.
Good point, though. How does someone believe that the God they worship, (I don't worship this one), is really God, and not deceiving them.
